Former Liverpool midfielder Graeme Souness has named Anthony Martial the worst addition to Manchester United in the past decade.

The French striker has once again faced heavy criticism following his disastrous performance in Sunday’s 0-1 loss to Newcastle, with Souness saying this was ” Buying the most failed player in 10 years of the “Red Devils” UFABET

“Where is Manchester United? You don’t have to look far, just look at Martial and you can see what the club is like,” Souness said via TalkSport.

“I wrote four or five years ago that it was Martial’s last chance and they gave him a new contract that he didn’t deserve. What I mean by him is that it’s been more than a decade of terrible football decisions.’

“The most important decision is finding the right people. And most importantly, who do you think you can let go? Who isn’t fit or good enough to be a Manchester United player? Who doesn’t have the right attitude?”

“You are playing for Manchester United, you play for the shirt, a club that stands up for the good things of their past and you have players who are going through a change now. For me, Martial. It represents 10 years of poor judgment and the fact that he is still at the club.”

“I tell you what happened with Martial, you watch him in training one day and say ‘Wow, he’s a great player’, but how many chances does he need to prove that? Is he a big club player? His chance is five years past. He shouldn’t be there.”

“He’s just one of those big decisions in football where they’ve made mistakes.”
